I am not only the planner; I’m also your advocate.

This week has me longing for a slower pace. We just listed our house for sale. We’ve lived in the same house for 13 years and have a mini farm. If you live with livestock and kids you understand the massive undertaking it is to get your house spic and span. If you don’t live with a bunch of animals, you will laugh at all of the antics of my life. I should probably write a book about balancing the animals, the kids, medical life, and trying to give everyone as normal of a life as possible. Lol

We also bought a house that we completely gutted from inside out. Life got busy and complicated with the animals and the medical stuff, so the house repairs were a little slower to be finished. My husband is also an incredibly skilled handyman, which is a money saver, but also makes projects take longer. We finally hired a handful of people to help make the house look its best, and I can say that hiring professionals to alleviate some of the overwhelm is worth every penny.

You might ask what the heck this has to do with travel. There are two points to my rambling.

  1. I value professionals and have found that my best clients also value my professional role.

  2. I will always do my best to match you with the type of trip that’s ideal for you.

I know you have choices when it comes to planning your vacations. You can absolutely DIY the whole thing. You can also hand over the reins to me and know that I’ve got your back. I recently worked with a couple who wanted a slower celebration but really had no idea where they wanted to go. They were overwhelmed with the choices. Through thoughtful questions and conversation, I created a vacation that they’re excited to experience.

Hiring me as your professional travel advisor means trusting that when things go wrong (it is travel, and things do go wrong sometimes!) I will take care of the problems. I am not only the planner; I’m also your advocate.
